A name, location, or other detail entered in a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Louisiana Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share a message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.

Links may lead to parish jail rosters, sheriff or corrections pages, government portals, parish subdomains, and outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy terms control. Louisiana's public-record definition in R.S. 44:1 remains subject to statutory exceptions. A record can also be sealed, expunged, delayed, or lawfully confidential, so public access should never be assumed from the subject alone.
Advertising providers may measure activity across websites on their own systems. Louisiana Released Inmates does not control that collection. Verify identity and current status with the source before repeating an agency result.
